Gratings must always be properly secured to prevent movement or displacement during use.
In areas where there is a fall hazard, with a height difference greater than 1000 mm, gratings must be fixed at least at the four corners to prevent lateral movement or lifting.
Gratings should be secured immediately after installation and checked regularly to ensure that the fixings remain effective.
