Fixed Access Ladders
Safe vertical access for industrial and building applications
mak gratings fixed access ladders are designed for safe vertical access in industrial facilities, buildings and technical installations.
They are manufactured in accordance with DIN 24532 and EN ISO 14122-4, with a clear width of 500 mm and robust steel construction for long-term performance.
Technical Configuration
Fixed access ladders are manufactured with:
- Frame and support brackets made from L 60 × 60 × 8 mm angle sections
- Base plates 120 × 120 × 8 mm
- Rungs made from bent U-profile, LSP 25/46/25 × 2 mm, spaced every 280 to 300 mm
- Safety cage made from 50 × 5 mm flat bars
- Safety cage locking mechanism
- Upper handrail
- Hot-dip galvanising in accordance with ISO 1461
The ladder is fixed to a concrete wall using metal expansion anchors.
