Forge-Welded Gratings
Forge-welded gratings are welded at every intersection between the bearing bars and cross bars. This ensures that the grating retains its physical and mechanical properties after fabrication and under demanding operating conditions.
These gratings offer high stability and excellent load distribution. Their open structure allows liquids, air, dust and light to pass through, making them a reliable choice for mezzanines, stair treads, landings, stormwater channels and a wide range of industrial applications.
Forge-welded gratings combine anti-slip performance, cost-effective use, high strength and low weight, making them suitable for both standard and custom project requirements.
They are produced with bearing bar thicknesses up to 5 mm. Available pitch (axial mesh) configurations include bearing bar spacing of 15, 25, 30, 34, 41 and 43 mm, as well as multiples such as 50, 60 and 68 mm. These can be combined with cross bar spacing of 24, 38, 51, 76, 101 and 132 mm.
Standard Pitch Configurations
Forge-welded gratings are available in the following standard pitch (axial mesh) configurations:
- 34 × 38 mm and 34 × 51 mm, according to DIN 24537-1
- 34 × 76 mm and 34 × 100 mm
- 30 × 100 mm
- 30 × 38 mm, 30 × 51 mm and 30 × 76 mm
- 41 × 100 mm and 41 × 51 mm
- 34 × 24 mm, suitable for a Ø20 mm ball requirement
- 25 × 76 mm and 25 × 100 mm
- 15 × 76 mm, with Ø4 mm round bar
Bearing bars can also be supplied with serration on the upper surface.
